Thursday Thirteen #1

Thirteen Things about Jeff

1. I've never seen Titanic and probably never will.

2. I love making Native American style flutes but I can't play them worth a flip.

3. I've never been to Washington, DC.

4. I have a degree in English, and my degree is a prerequisite for my job. Weird.

5. I love beer. All kinds.

6. I swear way too much but I don't feel guilty about it unless I accidentally swear in church.

7. I believe the basic premise of The DaVinci Code is correct, but I did not really like the book.

8. I believe Barbara Thiering's ideas on Christianity are even more correct.

9. I drive a car that's over 14 years old.

10. I once met a guy whose first name is Sutan.

11. I was frightened, really frightened, the first time I saw Teletubbies.

12. I made a bow (as in bow and arrow), and it works (then I made two more!!).

13. If I had more time, I would play more Gran Turismo 4 on Playstation 2.

English was one of my chosen majors in college. Totally versatile.

1) You're not missing anything by not seeing Titanic.
2) I have an English degree, and except for some freelance writing projects, I'm not really using it...
3) Because I'm a recruiter for a beer distributor!
4) (Gran Turismo is my Dad's favorite game)

1. Be courteous to everyone, friendly to no one.
2. Decide to be aggressive enough, quickly enough.
3. Have a plan.
4. Have a back-up plan, because the first one probably won't work.
5, Be polite. Be professional. But, have a plan to kill everyone you meet.
6. Do not attend a gunfight with a handgun whose caliber does not start with a "4".
7. Anything worth shooting is worth shooting twice. Ammo is cheap. Life is expensive.
8. Move away from your attacker. Distance is your friend
9. Use cover or concealment as much as possible.
10. Flank your adversary when possible. Protect yours.
11. Always cheat; always win. The only unfair fight is the one you lose.
12. In ten years nobody will remember the details of caliber,
stance, or tactics. They will only remember who lived.
13. If you are not shooting, you should be communicating your intention to shoot.
